Have somebody listen this french tube amplifier? What was the set-up?

I once had it demoed some 10 years ago with an Arcam CD-player and small Sonus Faber speakers. Not quite my taste, a little bit 'watercolor'. A very good image of the music, and smooth, but a little bit bleach, not enough energy and dynamics.
Still, it depends on taste and setup, I listen to fairly quiet music but also use my stereosetup for movies and I thought the Jadis lacked power for that. But listening in a smaller room and/or very sensitive speakers to music that favors tonality over dynamics it might be the right amp.
