The funny thing is, I walked intothe apple store the first day it was available, at about 11am, and it was empty, I walked up, asked for one, walked out, took about 3 minutes. And yes, iTunes is necessary to loadmusic onto the shuffle.

For what it is, i personally think it sounds excellent. For moving around and being active, it sounds just fine. I dont find it to be lacking much. Of course it doesnt sound anything like a home rig where you can just sit back and relax and "feel" the music.

Sound quality is good coming out of ksc-35s, you cant expect superb home rig sound, but its definitely enjoyable. I personally think how the buttons are laid out is awesome. Its very easy to control with just one hand. People say its too "long" of a player, but i realized if it was much shorter...

It's not that bad of a player at all, it works for my needs *gym*. I could always carry it with me without having to worry about it breaking or falling. Good thing alot of people dont like it because that allowed me to pick up one from the store yesterday =p
