@cqtek , nice fr at 83% almost flat no roll off...at 84 and above the sine wave is distorted as seen its clipping symmetrically. I think that is audible did you try with headset at that level? Also, seems it will perform better with at 100 ohm and above for max power transfer.- nesty

Curious question.. what sound signature does the zishan dsd emits when compared with other good/best sounding daps? I have zishan z1 and I just plan to upgrade.. In my z1 I only did opamp...- nesty

@Spektykles , you have a genuine AD797SQ you see they have a plant in the Philippines. For that reason it's laser printed underneath. That ceramic package is for high temp environment.- nesty

careful removing those decoupler exposes your headphones to offset dcv it might hurt them. anyway I think ivantt did it without hassles.- nesty

@cqtek , thanks for the graph I appreciate your help, no roll-off the low frequency but rolls off at high frequency which starts at 10kHz, it seems the biasing components around the lpf op amp alters the high frequency it actually starts the break off point at around 8khz. I think Z1 has better...- nesty

@cqtek, I am just curious you measured at the headphone out which is the amp stage. But how about measuring at the line out of each daps. Line outputs are connected directly to op amp buffers. I wonder how the results would be. :)- nesty

I dont know if it is only me but I have Sparkos SS3602, OPA2209 and OPA1692... and I have AD4084 but have not yet engage it in. OPA1692, clarity and details which translates to better highs., bass it can go deep but not basshead, width and depth is there, mids are a bit laid back but just...- nesty
