Reply to review by 'battlescarze' on item 'Luxman SQ-N10'
I have been looking at some of the Luxman gear, and I am curious if you still are happy with this unit? It has been a couple years since your post so if you still have the N10 it must be special!- Battlescarze

IEM for motorcycle -- Sub $100, snug fit, slow profile, excelent sound isolation, ect..
I cannot think of any IEM under the price point that will do all you want...I used the SE535's...was always careful with the volume not to go too loud...always adjusted the volume before starting the bike or doing anything. One thing that did help was a coolmax sock that you put over your...- Battlescarze

New Ipod Classic
It is strange that Apple has not come out with larger iTouch...memory is cheap...64GB jump drive is $25-50?? At one time the classic had a 250GB HDD... One can only assume that the iCloud is the reason for holding back larger drives...I would like to see 1TB portability...WD drives...- Battlescarze

FLAC/ALAC on iTunes but MP3 320 on iPod.
You can use XLD to convert your files into various formats simultaneously. Create 2 or 3 different libraries and load whichever library you want when you want...to sync your iPod load the MP3...to stream to stereo load your ALAC? So you could create FLAC, ALAC, and MP3 and put into 3...- Battlescarze

What is the best laptop for a student going into college? (Does the MacBook Pro Retina have any competition?)
I use a MBA with WIN7 running on Parallels 8...its fantastic for portability and all bases are covered for College too. While the rMBP's are beautiful its overkill for college IMO. I have had the MBA for just under 2 years and it has been flawless whether running Windows programs or...- Battlescarze

AudioQuest Dragonfly Review : Affordable, Outstanding, Tiny DAC / Amp
What does it mean when the DragonFly lights up in different colors? As mentioned above, DragonFly performs best when audio data is sent to it at its native sample rate. To simplify this, DragonFly lights up different colors when it receives audio data at different sample rates: green for...- Battlescarze

Do I need M2TECH hiFace2?
It really comes down to your DAC...getting the 1's and 0's to your DAC as accurately as possible. Computers are noisy environments and the M2Tech can help alleviate some of the shortcomings of your PC or Mac giving you better connectivity to your DAC...a noticeable upgrade.- Battlescarze
