Just a quick question for you all... 
 
I currently have a set of AKG Q460's and am after a cheap DAC/AMP is it as simple as buying a FiiO D3/Behringer ACA202 or is extra hardware required???
 
My laptop has woeful audio and no optical out

What kind of laptop do you have? ....have you researched the "Dragonfly" by Audioquest?

It's an Asus X53Z and yes just the basic research like eading WhatHiFi Magazine :S maybe have to Richer and have a demo
