    Koss KSC35 / KSC75 with a built in microphone?

If I remember right, they looked like normal KSC35's, but where white and the left ear piece has a plastic arm coming out of it with a microphone on the tip. I remember someone on this forum posting pictures of it before.

iRiver HD320 went down the toilet, need suggestions for a new one

antiant, using a remote would tell us if the problem is with the keybad or upstream. Besides cleaning the circuit board with it, you should try soaking the keypad in rubbing alcohol for a few minutes and using a hair dryer to dry it. The keypad disconnects at ribbon cable. You'll need a small...

iRiver HD320 went down the toilet, need suggestions for a new one

You don't want to use electrical contact cleaner on your iriver. It stains and disolves many types of plastics. Use rubbing alcohol instead. Can you plugin a remote and see if it functions fine? This will tell me if the problem is with your player's keypad or upstream.

iRiver HD320 went down the toilet, need suggestions for a new one

Take a soft tooth brush and rubbing alcohol to the circuit boards and button assembly. I didn't take apart the button assembly to know what kind of pads they used, but if you post pictures, I can give you some tips on how to clean/repair them. Also, does the remote control the player fine?

    hours:minutes:seconds.xx.xxx ?

Ian, cue sheets seem to use the xx/75 format, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cue_sheet so 31:26:60 is the same as 31:26.800 (60/75=.8)

    hours:minutes:seconds.xx.xxx ?

okay, I did some more research and have some more questions.... So 04:18:63 = 4 minutes, 18 seconds, 63 frames. Naturally its 18/60 seconds, but 63 out of how many frames? I assume since I have 44.1k samples per second, its 63/44100 ? What confuses me more is how audio editing programs...

Tagging Multiple Tracks to a single FLAC file?

These are actually mix tapes (cassettes) I made a decade ago. I've got a system down where I use CDRCue to make the cue sheet, but CDRCue is buggy and doesn't include quotes on around the arist and track names so foobar won't recogonise the cue sheet. As a fix I open and save the cue with...

Tagging Multiple Tracks to a single FLAC file?

So I found a way to do this using foobar and a program called CDRCue, but CDRCue leaves a LOT to be desired. Does anyone know of a better way to do this? For starters CDRCue doesn't read flac files.

I was just playing with foobar after giving up on the godfather. Can you recomend a good cue sheet editor/creator? I have a cassette "mix tape" recorded as a single flac file. A good cassette (tape) forum ?

Hi lini. I was thinking more along the line of full blown players, but I wouldn't mind learning more about some good portables as well. I have a large box full of cassettes. I'm looking to archive them as .flac files on my computer, so naturally I need a high quality player.

Hard case / tin for Koss KSC-35's ?

Yes, in my mockup, I was using the iriver as well. I think your tin has plenty of room to hold just the cans. I'm headed to the dollar store to see if they have any mini craft containers that will do the job.
