430 is old at this point. I got a m3 ultra from shanling for the same prixe that has a sd660 and a10. Compared to my r5 g2 it's faster and just better for usage daily. I'd rather they just put a much better cpu in it than a 400 series

Class a puts both outputs at full power so they can run some things a bit better. According to reviews things sound richer, but if you have a pair of earbuds or headphones that don't need a lot of power, class A isn't going to make a difference

The cable shouldn't do much of anything besides deliver the right plug/balanced output/power that the headphones need

Apple did something where the USB c can detect what apple phone is less charged and charge it up till it's more. Although it could be a cable too that's causing it

On the hiby app it seems to not do gapless, but third party apps do.

I get gapless from both apps since it's built in to the apps.

For cpu and android version id take the m3 ultra. For a bit warmer sound and better tonality imo the r5 gen 2 is the way to go. This is based off the m3x, and even with what you said per reviews the class a has always intrigued me as being better

I would assume by that point I would hope hiby would be smart enough to give us a Android update of some kind to show they care about their players.

If you were willing to spend the money on a wm1am2, why not go for something in the 1k$ state?

I don't see how that works if the electronics inside would cause an interference with each other. Also have tried and didn't see any difference, unless you cover up the whole thing and put it in airplane mode

I just wish hiby would update. Give us better playback controls to the app that's playing music. Give us a9 too so I can use some apps that need it.
