When were these discontinued? They're not listed on Beyerdynamic's site anymore  What is the replacement?   Also - seems like B&H doesn't carry Beyerdynamics anymore

Wouldn't adding another amp between the headphone out (NOT line out) and the headphones add distortions/coloration/etc that weren't there w/o it? You are going through two amps

I have a feeling mine are going to die soon (been using them since 2003-4?) I love the sound signature on these and I heard that the IIs do not sound the same? If not, what else has the dark, slightly warm and colored sound the PX100s ooze?

I've always used my UE3s with the biflanges for the sake of isolation (plus I thought they looked cool) Well I popped in regular silicone tips today and it sounds much bassier (well, harder hitting and less tinny) Do all bi flanges do this or is it just me?
