Who can do a recable of these, if possible? How much would it run?

I have kind of the same question but would like to recable this headphone myself.

In this thread i saw those pictures of a PFE opened up:

How hard is it to do this myself on the 'old' version (V0), because i might want to do a recable?

Is it clamped in place or was that soldered in?

I think that the grey part is held together like some parts do in model kits (giant japanese anime robot model kits, FYI), and the white cover is held by screws

That was the prototype version. I bought them thinking they could be re-cabled. I think the final release version is glued together.
