Hmmm... Not sure about this! Used my UP5 with many Smartphones/Tablets/Laptops and the volume is consistently a lot lower over Bluetooth than wired. It's always been like that since I got the UP5. One of the main reasons I got rid of it actually.

That's right, EQ and LDAC can't be used together.

What would you like to see in a gen 2? I can't think of much Shure could do really. They already sound great and are super comfy. Guess the noise cancelling could be improved (moot point for me, I don't really use it), maybe longer battery life? Allow EQ with LDAC? Edit: actually, if Shure...

New firmware and app update available now. Adds the ability to apply EQ globally rather than just to locally stored music. But only if you don't use LDAC...

Found the battery life of my Hip-Dac has really dipped over the past week. Seems to be around 1hr 30min use now. I've reached out to IFi support and waiting to hear back. I'm curious though, has anybody got experience of IFi support? Am I likely to have a struggle on my hands to get the battery...
