Please don't misunderstand: The T 1 is NOT based on the DT 48! The mechanics of the T 1 are clearly based on the DT 880. The coincidence that the T 1 has a ring magnet is not on purpose, it's just the way it is. Just like I wrote on our site (under "Innovations"): "...The transducers...- SunDevil

Well, I did say it correctly the first time. the ring magnet is indeed ferrite. And for those who like to know: the A1 (beyerdynamic headphone amp) is short-circuit proof, meaning you can connect headphones with impedances as low as 1 ohms. Many regards, Quote:- SunDevil

Everything I say now is a lie , but I think it is still ferrite... I will check for sure tomorrow though, cause I have something in mind telling it is not ferrite. Quote:- SunDevil

Hi to all from Germany , It's great to read so much about our oldie DT 48 E. The first DT 48 was manufactured around 1937!! And not much has changed since than. Only some outer things have been changed, the driver is actually the same. Aluminum (no foil like most headphones)...- SunDevil

Sieveking Headphone Stand - Do you like it?
I hoped to get a little more interest -
Sieveking Headphone Stand - Do you like it?
I understand that for users outside Europe the Stand becomes pretty expensive :-( That's why I added the price to the Poll, would you buy it if it would only cost € 99,-? Many thanks, -
Sieveking Headphone Stand - Do you like it?

German Maestro really = MB Quart?
Well, first of all I believe only 2 or 3 headphones were designed with the orthodynamic systems, which were, as far as I know, produced and engineered my MB themselves. A OEM version was definitely made for B&O...more info, soon! P.S. I just updated the MB Peerless site on Wikiphonia ;-)...- SunDevil

German Maestro really = MB Quart?
Hi Y'all, to put some things as straight as possible as the former Product & Sales Manager Headphones and Headsets at MB Quart (Jan 2004 - Mai 2008), this is what happened (I'm still working on a proper history on Wikipedia): in 2000 Rockford Fosgate bought MB Quart...mid September 2004...- SunDevil

Still abit confused about diffrent versions of Beyerdynamic dt770 and mmx300
Hi ATWindsor, First of all the DT 770 PRO and DT 770 (Edition 2005 - Consumer Version) are "related". The differences are the headbow (more tension on the DT 770 PRO), the housing (causing both headphones to sound slightly different) and the packaging. The different impedances: - DT 770...- SunDevil

Hi Head-Fi'ers, I'm looking for CD's and (Music and/or Movie) DVD's with SUPERB sound quality for DEMO purposes of headphones and Headzone. I already bought Nah Youn Sun (Album "So I Am...") and a couple of other CD's like Keith Jarret's "The Köln Concert", but I am trying to find CD's in... -
Smyth SVS Realiser Virtual Surround Technology for Headphones
It's very interesting to read that some people (most of them actually tested the SVS and/or Headzone) "defend" these systems and some (most of them haven't heard any of the systems) think it's impossible Does everybody actually know how we (humans) are able to "detect" from which direction a...- SunDevil
