New to the forum, nice to meet y'all. Been an avid "audiophile" for approximately 20 years, within budget of course.

I know certain audio components benefit from Burn-In, i.e. headphones and tube amps, but what about DAP's? Does letting them play for extended periods of time help at all? My new Fiio M11 is sounding kinda dry and if it doesn't improve any it'll be going back unfortunately.

Unfortunately I do not because the Neo's fit me fine. Their pads are about 1/2" thick, so maybe start there and see if you can find any thicker than those.

I love the way the Neo's fit my fat head, but that's just me, and they sound amazing. Instead of bending the headbands and trying different headphones only to be disappointed, what about trying thicker pads to provide more width on the cups, might provide more clamping force. That's just my 2...

Give the Hifiman Sundara's a chance. $350, open back, planar, no mic, great soundstage for music, excellent imaging for gaming, and they seem to be pretty durable. Look up Zeos on youtube, great review for them focusing on the gaming side of them as well.
