A Cowon D2+ just sucks compared to e.g. an iPod Nano 4G if you pair it with Triple.Fi 10 Pro (EQ-crap off)... so what? It depends absolutely on the earphone you use!

The IE7 does only have one "dynamic" driver, whereas the TF10 has 3 amature drivers. But thats doesn't matter. I only own TF10 but from what I've heard, the IE7 sounds definitely worse. You can get the TF10 at earphonesolutions.com for 350$. I think it's a way better deal if you like its...

Indeed! I would like to know some alternatives besides Qables and ALO who build iPod Touch 2G LOD-cables.

The 2G has a superior hp-out with little to no hiss and better bass response with low impendance headphones. That's something major to me, but well, it's for children

Yeah, the 828 hisses like hell with TF10 or comparable IEM while the 638 does not!

I trust my ears too and a Cowon D2 sounds unamped much worse than a new generation iPod Touch or Nano (using TF10). This combination is amazing! True story for me Just a matter of preference... that's okay.

Neither zen nor fuze! IMO sub-par SQ in combination with TF10. Better take a Sony NWZ S638F (or a new gen iPod...period!)
