Great. I've just contacted my dealer to let me know when he gets one in the Autumn, so I can try it out.

Going directly to speakers that are 91db efficient but 4Ohm, can the TT 2 handle the 4Ohm load assuming I would listen in a small area max 4x3m and volume typically around 70db, max 80db ?

    CHORD ELECTRONICS DAVE

Do you or your buddy need to use a sub with either of your Omega speakers when used directly with Dave/Hugo 2 (eg nearfield; max 7 feet from listening position to the speakers) ?

Thanks for the picture! I'm researching geting a similar setup i.e the Omega's and the Hugo 2 (or the Qutest since I don't need portability) How far is your listening position? My listening chair is around 2.5m What speakers did you have before the XRS's?

Chord Electronics Qutest DAC - Official Thread

I'd be interested in your findings using the DSP Roon volume. I'm thinking about eventually getting a Qutest and go directly in high efficient speakers but I'm unsure how to control the volume. I've read of one other person who uses his 2qute controlling the volume with Jriver (into high...

+1. Me too enjoyed your comparison to the DSJ. Also enjoyed your views around H2 direct to your speakers without using an amplifier . Wondered if adding a sub would have helped with the "thin" sound in your opinion ?

Oh, that's interesting with the ISO REGEN in the chain, Could that be due to that the CH2 not having galvanisation on it's USB input I wonder?

Chord Electronics - Hugo 2 - The Official Thread

Yeah your are right, I should really wait for impressions but maybe in a speaker setup as tested by Guerph & Ruben D, then the differences are not that much between the 2Qute and CH2 but as you say "overall synergy and transparency of the system will have a lot to do with how the system...

What input did you use to the CH2, e.g. was it USB or optical when you did the comparison ?

Thanks to both Guerph & Ruben D for your comparisons between the CH2 and 2Qute, you may have saved me some money. I thought the CH2 would be quite a bit better than the 2Qute. I'll probably will now get a used 2Qute (or even a used Chord TT) instead of the Chord Hugo 2 since I was only really...

I'm thinking of using the H2 in my stereo set up as a Pre & Dac as it's primary use. Do you simply just connect RCA cables from the H2 to your power amp (or mono blocks) and use the remote to change volume ?

As someone who lives in Scandinavia I have to agree this. It makes buying the the more expensive models (e.g. TT and Dave) almost out of reach (compared to the UK prices anyway).
