I agree; I have Quadraspire QPLUS Advanced under Dave and Blu and the difference is felt.- Arcabonne

Focal Utopia General Discussion
I had a similar experience: a huge crash from the headphones, fortunately I had not worn them. The cause? I have no certainties, but I suspect it is a sudden absence of electricity. Shortly thereafter, my valve preamplifier had to be repaired and the technician told me of a big electric shock.- Arcabonne

Stupid question ... is there a way to use Dave's headphone output from an analog signal from a phono stage?- Arcabonne

Yes, of course, even if I never sell old Senny. More body, more dynamics, more clarity and detail. Only less amplitude of sound on orchestral classic music.- Arcabonne

Something like this happened to me, the display went out of order and a signal came from the device as from a fryer (from the device directly, not from an exit). Round trip to England, a card was replaced. Then all right.- Arcabonne

I really like the Utopia, but sometimes, in the operas, the strong high notes of the soprano reach distortion level. This independently of the amplifier (Dave and Pathos). Is it only the fault of the recordings? Does it happen to you too?- Arcabonne

Do you know the existence of connectors to connect cables for Utopia to other headphones (for example, Abyss), which do not compromise signal quality? Thanks in advance.- Arcabonne

Very interesting comments, thanks. I, I ordered the Nirvana for a Utopia and I hope to appreciate them in the same way. I wonder if there is a connector to use them with other headphones without loss of quality ... let's see.- Arcabonne

Greetinks to all; have you ever noticed incompatibility with power cable other than the original one? I tried a Nordost Vishnu but the sound was terribly distorted; all ok instead with the stock one. Thanks in advance.- Arcabonne

Another question, s'il vous plait. Having the pair Chord Blue / Dave, I am inclined to add Utopia to my headphones, considering the proven synergy. However I wonder if it is the best choice to listen mainly to operas. Each headset has its favorite terrain, my HD800 is very good for the classic...- Arcabonne

The noise came out directly from the Dave, not through the headphone or speakers. It is indipendent from the inputs, and whether there is an active signal or not. The noise does not affect listening (for now, at least).- Arcabonne

CHORD ELECTRONICS DAVE
Dear all, today my Dave has started to emit strange noises, either alone or connected to the Blue. I changed the cables, but the noise remained. It's like a rain of ticking, like the noise of hail falling on a glass. I'm very worried, I'm in Italy, far from assistance. Do you have any idea about...- Arcabonne

Actually it seems to me that the test on 6 Moons does not say that the X25 is sonically inferior to 30.8. Unfortunately, it has only one input.- Arcabonne

I'm doing the same research. At present I would be directed to the Pass Labs 30.8, 30 watts in class A.- Arcabonne

Dear all, do you suppose future Chord digital amp will have analog imput? I am inclined to wait for it, for best sinergy with BluDave set, but need ampli also for my classic pre, since half of the listening is from lp (other half is from cd). Otherwise I should consider a good Class A amp...- Arcabonne
