I'm using Korg, it's user friendly and performs well with DSD/DXD without the need of downloading plugins etc. I just hope it had at least 25% of foobar features- Houba

FiiO F9, F9Pro-Detachable MMCX connector,Hi-Res Audio Certified,2.5mm TRRS/3.5mm audio cable
I meant that FR graph in a direct comparison with an older sibling having the same signature is not an indicator of performances. It's like comparing the FR graph of a V1 vs a V2, both will likely have the same signature with maybe as you mentioned a shorter/higher peak in some areas but the V2...- Houba

FiiO F9, F9Pro-Detachable MMCX connector,Hi-Res Audio Certified,2.5mm TRRS/3.5mm audio cable

What I learned so far is that we can't trust all reviewers for various reasons, such as a misleading information on measurements, specifications and lack of knowledge on the product. Recently I saw a reviewer on Youtube (well known on headfi) who don't even know that Noble iems have a detachable... -

FiiO F9, F9Pro-Detachable MMCX connector,Hi-Res Audio Certified,2.5mm TRRS/3.5mm audio cable
I guess the answer is obviously "yes" ! Most music enthusiasts will use their smartphone along with their daps with budget to mid tier iems and it's very helpful to have an in-line remote. However, the cable is removable and further to my knowledge the original F9 came with 2 cables to suits...- Houba
