I snagged some pre owned CFW2’s online for pretty cheap. The only time I’ll probably be using them wirelessly is with my smart TV so I am hoping the mids are much improved over previous models.

Preliminary reviews seem pretty positive on the studios. I'll pop in an Apple Store and demo them when they are available.

I have managed to hold off on the CF2W for all this time so far. I'll wait until the reviews are in for the studio's (or possibly get a demo) and then make a decision.

I've been wanting to pull the trigger on these for so long now. The lack of AAC is a big put off for me as an iPhone/apple music user. Using them as a wired phone does not really appeal to me as I use open back cans when at home.

Yep .... these things are amazing! No regrets. Quite neutral not bass heavy; they sound suprisingly open too. Large silicon tips seem to do the trick although I am using the wings all the time also. My only concern if I'm being nit-picky is they could have used a touch more reinforcement...
