You will not regret it, I think the issue is with the stock cable as the upgraded sony cable I have there is no issue. The only problem why I do not use them is that it is heavy and not intended for walking unless you put the iem over the ear.

I will try that with mine as I have the same issues, my temporary solution is to put some glue as I seldom change cables.

Happens maybe after a year, too hassle for me to report as mine was imported from eBay in US to PH. My unit has never been dropped, so it seems the QA failed on this one.

I have MUC-M12SM2 and not using it for now as it is too heavy to be used while walking, I used it over the ear to solve the issue but sound change when I use the iem that way. But it improves the sound and good when use while stationary.

I can live with Amiron and Jotunheim alone.

Get the HD600, it is natural and the bass is not lacking too compared to HD650. I sold both my HD650 and HD58X.

For me on HD600, yes for variety and I have DV 336SE to drive them. I almost sell my Jot as I do not like the pairing with the 600, but since I got the Amiron I can live with only Jot and Amiron.

I considered my Amiron Home as an upgrade to my HD600, not as a side grade.

Same with my unit.

Thanks, already downloaded it. With all the universal firmware for 1A, it is only J3AU.exe that I am unable to download due to virus flagged set by windows 10 antivirus. All are ok, maybe there is some kind of signature in the file that interpreted by antivirus as virus?

I like the E5000 more than Sony N3 and Ibasso IT03 which I have. There also no fatigue that you can experience even with long listening session. I bought E3000 as a backup and because I also read good feedback on it. E5000 on my wm1a is similar with my Amiron and Jots desktop setup.

It is better than my Sony N3 and put to shame my IT03 imo.

I seldom use my Jots before and favor using my DV336 with my HD600. But since I got my Beyer Amiron, I seldom used my DV. It seems that the pairing of Jots and Amiron to my ear is match made in heaven.
