I am charging mine at this very minute via the computer and it is only very slightly warm. Never had a problem with it being hot even when in very low charge state. You might want to contact dealer about that.

Not sure if you ever got this tamed Doc, but couldn't you just use a card reader with your puter to just load the cards then insert them into the player? Just a suggestion. May be worth a try???

well since the site says it has >120 DB my uneducated guess would be 0.552 for 10 db , 0.828 for 15 DB and 1.104 for 20 DB but be warned that's just a calculated guess and I would certainly contact Rothwell for correct figures on that Pancakes if the voltage is critical for you.
