Bang & Olufsen BeoPlay H8 (Wireless Noise Cancelling On-Ear Headphones)

It appears that h8i and h9i do not support aptx - even though the old (non i) models do

The Hardest hitting Headphones are.. ( "The EXTREME BASS Club")

Regarding VModa Wireless vs Sony XB950BT Wireless. My phone doesn't support EQ when using Bluetooth. Are the VModas bassy without EQ? I'm guessing I wouldn't have to worry about this on the Sony ones as they have the bass boost button. Also noticed the Sonys support aptx and vmodas don't.  ...

Would I be crazy to consider the Beats Studio Wireless? It seems to tick all boxes: Basshead - yes ANC - yes APTx - This isn't clear whether it's supported, but the aptx website seems to say yes? Looks good - subjective but it's a yes from me Over ear - yes   Seems nothing else is...

VModa is probably a good choice to use with iPhone. Shame they don't have ANC though. They don't support aptx so not convinced about using them with non Apple devices   Edit - But definately get the XL pads if you get them. They are uncomfortable without

Do you think Momentum 2 are a good basshead/Bluetooth/ANC headphone (for people who don't need AAC)? Considering returning the backbeats and getting these or Beoplay H8

Gregio, maybe Beoplay H8 or Momentum 2.0? No first-hand experience with either, but might be worth looking into. They both cost a lot more than Fidelio M2BT though

Unfortunately I cannot easily EQ them at all. The Windows Phone OS does not support EQ of Bluetooth headphones, only wired (unless using a third party app)

Hi all. I'm reading elsewhere that Plantronics Backbeat Pro bass was toned down in firmware updates. Do they still deserve their place as 4th best headphones for bass in the OP?   https://www.reddit.com/r/headphones/comments/3llc2c/can_i_downgrade_plantronics_backbeat_pro_firmware/

I decided to get the Backbeat Pros due to concerns over the glue on the M2BTs. So far I have mixed feelings on them. In terms of features and also the sound quality, I love them. But they just feel a little heavy and uncomfortable so far. I also get the same cutouts that I got on the VModa CFW...

I tried two sets of CFW with Lumia950, Lumia830 and Surface Pro 4 and got the same issue. It seems to occur mostly in crowded train stations. There are a lot of wifi networks from shops there and also many other people also using bluetooth devices (not just headphones but also fitness bands etc)

Thanks 1wyseman. One other concern I have about the Fidelios is the range. I read in various places that the range on these is not great. I had cutouts on the VModa CFW in Central London, so I guess buying something with good range would have a stronger signal and make this less likely? Thanks

I'm looking for a pair of basshead Bluetooth headphones. Mainly for drum and bass and 90s jungle. This is to use with Windows Phone, so would like aptx.   Currently Looking at the following: Plantronics Backbeat Pro (but looks a bit big/heavy/ugly) Fidelio M2BT (looks awesome, but seems to...
