[Review] Superlux HD681 EVO
Other than the weird kinda look on the Superlux that someone also mentioned above, Think of the all day comfort factor as well. I own the HD598 and the HD681 and use the velour pads on the HD681 and they are very comfortable for working even while mowing the lawn. (with a portable amp on my...- Primus2112

Fostex new RP headphones - T50RPmk3, T40RPmk3 and T20RPmk3
Sound question... Ok so I have done a few tweaks and have been using on more Mw powered amps. But what am I missing or rather the sound signature is a bit hard to pinpoint. From all the headphones I have. The T50 Mk3 is sweet, but sometimes the sound is neutral then it just accentuates...- Primus2112

Cool! Thanks for the tip! Is there a reason as to why FiiO should be to connected to back RCA? Just curious! As I have seen this on other threads with regards to this on different systems. Thanks :)- Primus2112

Sweet. But dang honestly I have to resort to using my FiiO E12 Mont Blanc as a sort of extra amp from the headphone out of the DAC X6. DAC-X6 is a great deal but, when I switch from my FiiO portable amp attached to low Mw output android phone to PC... it just does not compare to the FiiO...- Primus2112

Interesting mod link. I left the foam but had removed the felt that was on the drivers. I am really satisfied with the way it sounds to my ears so I am pretty much done modding / tinkering with them. :) Give the SHiPs a try... and compare when you receive them with the EVO's. Then sell...- Primus2112

Hi all, So after trying the Cosmos pads as per prior pages in this thread. I ended up washing them with dish soap and rinsing and then throwing in the dryer with clothes. RESULT... YES they shrunk a bit and got less plumpy! I tried them on and something was just off, in particular the bass as...- Primus2112

Hmm, I may hand wash them to see if they get less plump! Great suggestion. Btw I just reverted to the stock pads. I like them too and since I have the Mr speakers leather band it helps with comfort. Still haven't rec'd the 1840 padsin the mail. :) The Cosmos are just too plumpy and make me look...- Primus2112
