    LZ-A4 Impressions and Discussion Thread

I left mine alone for nearly 5 days. I originally would have an issue where I'd go to bed with them sounding great then wake up with the left IEM much quieter, but this has gone away. My issue is a little different I fear. I'll do some more testing to determine the issue. It can't be cable or...

    LZ-A4 Impressions and Discussion Thread

Anyone have any experience taking apart the A4? My left monitor has recently gotten quieter specifically in the upper range. If it isn't too risky I'd love to do it myself rather than send it back to China for 2 months.

Just thought I'd let you know that you do not need to invert the cables to use the IEM's over the ear. They're designed to be used both ways. Since you're using the Red back filter, I'm guessing you're a fan of bass. I suggest you try NO back filter and see if you enjoy that. The Blue front...

If you're not happy with Red back just know you can go NO BACK filter. I'm not a basshead but even I love crazy bass every once in a while. I didn't like the black nozzle on front at first and enjoyed the Gray filter's treble more so feel free to give that a try too.

IEM: As the new LZ-A5 is coming out the LZ-A4 price might drop soon. It can be bought for around $160 US, but usually $190 US, plus it's sold on headfi all the time. It's a fantastic IEM IMO

Just curious if anyone could compare the Lz-A4 (or A5 if RedJohn wants to) to the HD-6xx from massdrop, because they're so similarly priced. I know they have completely different sounds to them, but I'd appreciate a little overview. Also, bought my Lz-A4 a few weeks back thanks to this thread...

Chinese / Asian Brand IEM Info Thread

Hello Chinese IEM thread, I'd been here previously for a brief amount of time, but I abandoned this thread for a period because I lost interest (and budget....)   I'm back because I'm looking for the best close to neutral/natural sounding IEM at around $100. My max budget is $125. I have heard...

I believe he was one of the first to receive the Shockwaves along with Twin. The Shockwaves also have a DD and are not mid emphasized like he's talking about. So these ate not his impressions on the Shockwaves. Just saw the end of your post (@Skullophile) not sure if you edited or I missed it...

Yeah, I'm not sure if cold is the correct term, but cold is the opposite of warm and that's definitely not what they are so I thought it fit...

The HLSX-808 are growing on me!   I didn't like them much in my initial impressions, but burn in (not sure if it's my ears or the drivers) has made something great out of these. The treble is no longer piercing to my sensitive eardrums at any . The bass, which was originally a bit boomy, has...

I received the HLSX-808 and the KZ HDS1 this Friday due to some miscommunication between USPS, Easy, and I (I sorta got them for free and promised to review them for Easy because I felt/feel bad). I'm not gonna be too in depth with them right now as the HLSX-808 have only 20 hours of burn in...

My HLSX-808 is arriving today!!!! So hyped from what I've heard they're gonna be great. Hopefully they don't have the bass emphasis of the 2016 Easy UEs, the UEs are great, but a bit bass heavy for me.

They talked about it in the $30 Chinese IEM thread. Sounds like they are pretty balanced except for an extended treble.

Soooooooooo.... THE EASY UES 2016 WERE FORWARDED TO MY NEW HOME YESTERDAY (even though I filed the forwarding address after it's attempted arrival, and after the people at USPS told me it was going back to the sender. I even contacted customer support with no response).   Now for my...

I heard that the HyperX Cloud was not actually a rebrand and that it was made by another company. I've read that it doesn't sound nearly as good as the Takstar.

He's referring to the two Easy UE IEMS at different budgets. I cannot speak for the sound of either of these (unfortunately ;( ). I've heard that both are great at their price ranges though, can't go wrong with either.

I previously owned the Bluedio Bs-2 ($20 ish), sounds pretty fantastic for the price, but the "upgraded" Bs-3 is treble heavy to the point of it being harsh. If you can spend a little extra, I highly recommend JBL's new speaker line. Got my Flip 3 for $75 on eBay.

So I have a funny story to tell... I ordered the Easy UEs almost a whole month ago now. Yesterday USPS attempted to deliver to my house, which I moved out of a week ago. I figured to keep things simple I could just go over there and pick it up (I didn't move far). They did not leave it there or...
