Since it seems like you're the original owner, I'd email ZMF first. I've been enjoying Hart Audio's interconnect cable system though- they're affordable and made it extremely convenient to use my Aeolus on sources with different output connectors.

Sorry to trouble you, but would you mind letting us know the differences you hear between the two?   They're priced quite similarly, and the Emotiva DACs can do double duty as portable solutions; I'm sure there are people as interested in this as I am. =)

Definitely came out of left field for me. Was expecting the Ether electrostats, actually.   Would love to hear if this has any of the "hardness" in the treble that planars can't seem to shake (to my ears at least).

  The Ember & Polaris are their powerhouse flagships, but you might not have to spend that much to get what you're looking for (musicality,warmth). Best of luck!

  Email Jeremy! Garage1217 is pretty much a two-person operation, but their customer support is awesome.   From what I've read, the Project Sunrise and Solstice are the more "tubey" sounding amps in their lineup. This page might help you decide.

  That's interesting. Why would you roll off the treble of individual channels?

    I would only order Aggressive, unless you own/use any NOS DACs.   The Mellow version is designed to shave of inaudible high-frequency noise when used with NOS DACs (the lowest two Bandwidth settings make no audible difference to my ears).
