    My DP-S1 gets over twenty with a bit of coaxing. All smartphones do. We are devolving. It’s not just power. I believe that coding optimisation isn’t very good for many of these DAPs.

    I think the context is that I am coming from mid to high end DAPs, where battery life usually exceeds 20 hours with strenuous use. I never got the N6ii to return better than 15 hours on a run-down test, and in mixed use, it often got less than 12 hours. I have also had it run down in 10 hours...
