ATH-M50 Replacements - m50x or something else?
Interesting, going to check out the A900x's. The size of the earcups on those at first glance made me think of my DT-880 Pros, which are probably the most comfortable headphones I own. Those are open back, but I love the sound out of them. Would it be worth looking at the Beyer DT-770 Pros?- cranda58

ATH-M50 Replacements - m50x or something else?
I've got a friend of mine who is purchasing my ATH-M50's and need a new pair of closed back headphones for work. I listen to a lot of rock, d&b, some rap, some classical. Very wide range of music. I have a Fiio E10K Olympus 2 DAC/Amp hooked up to my computer, so that's what I will be...- cranda58

Spyro - have you happened to listen to any of Piotr's Custom Art CIEMs? Curious how the JH5 compares to the Music Two.- cranda58

Thanks! Know of anywhere else? One is sold out and the other would run me $35 after shipping. -
Looking for USB Micro to Micro OTG Cable
I've got a Fiio Alpen 2 E17K to use as a DAC / Amp with my Galaxy Note 4. Right now I've got a Micro USB to Full Size USB OTG Cable, then a short USB to Micro, making this quite a cable mess. Looking for a USB OTG cable that is USB Micro Male on both ends to connect my two devices without...- cranda58

Mid to High-End IEM vs vs Low-End Custom CIEM
I pulled the trigger on a pair of Custom Art Music Two's with detachable cables. I've heard great things about Piotr and his work and am very excited! Will let everyone know how they turn out! Sokre - This is my first CIEM, but I'd imagine you would want them reshelled. It is a bit of a...- cranda58

Mid to High-End IEM vs vs Low-End Custom CIEM
If I had to put an order to it, it would probably go Rock -> Instrumental/Classical -> D&B -> Rap- cranda58

Mid to High-End IEM vs vs Low-End Custom CIEM
What would everyone recommend in the $300 - $500 price range for a CIEM? Anyone have any experience with CustomArt Music Two? Listen to a wide variety of music and will be playing most through a Fiio Olympus 2-E10K or Fiio Alpen 2-E17K.- cranda58

Mid to High-End IEM vs vs Low-End Custom CIEM
I am looking for a new set of IEMs - leaning toward the Fidue A83's right now. Wanted to see if it was worth checking out a lower end CIEM like Custom Art instead. It will be probably another $100-150 extra after impressions - worth the extra?- cranda58

Fiio Alpen 2 E17K as Android DAC
Primarily use Spotify for most music. Also have some 44.1KHz 320KBPS mp3's that I play through Poweramp. Same problems. Seems to be universal though everything, as even a system noise, like pressing the back button will play once and then no more sound output.- cranda58

Fiio Alpen 2 E17K as Android DAC
Not sure if this helps, but when it works this is what happens. Plug it in, goes to 96K - 24bit - will play the next sound (be it a click noise, or song) -> shifts to 48K - 16bit and will play the song until it goes to next track or I press pause, then I get nothing. Unplug from the phone...- cranda58

Recommendations - Buds / IEMs ~$300
How would the DN-2000 compared to the Fidue A83 or T-Peos Altone 200? Would a Custom IEM be worth looking into or is that price increase not worth it?- cranda58

Fiio Alpen 2 E17K as Android DAC
Just got a Fiio Alpen 2 E17K to be used as a DAC with my Galaxy Note 4. When I plug it in I can't seem to get any sound out from the phone. Any tips? Sometimes it will play a sound or music briefly and then revert back to no sound.- cranda58

Recommendations - Buds / IEMs ~$300
Hi everyone - been a long time reader and have dipped my toes in the water with a few headphones, IEMs, and amps. Looking for a good set of IEMs in the $300 range. I got a pair of GR07's a while back and I'm not sure if I just got a bad pair or what (purchased through Lend Me Ur Ears), but they...- cranda58
