The audio technica m50 is know for its over emphasised base so would highly recommend these. hey are also fairly cheap at the moment so win win situation.

the akg k500 cups are the biggest on the market and requier a big head for a good seal. Great open sounding sound that is fairly nutrall. Hope this helps   NOTE these are £99 right now !!! usually theyre £200 so they are a steal

I tried the magni and the vali. i liked he vali more in the way it was warmer and smoother. I would now like to the know the difference in the vali and the objective 2. Any thoughts?

I want an amp capable of driving most headphones from the senheiser hd 598 to the beyerdynamic dt 990 250 ohm headphones. In the future i want to purchase the akg k702. Which amp will drive these best?  Nowhere on the internet can i find a definitive answer  i just want to know the differences...

Don't worry I have edited that bit out. It was a noob mistake to say it was a tube amp lol. So what is the difference in the sound between the magni and the 02?

The akg k550 in my opinion has a more detailed soundstage meaning you can pinpoint things instead of just eating them in different place like with the mdr 1a. (That's my opinion at least others will disagree) the k550 also has superior comfort and build quality as it is a mostly metal design...

True. But the build quality s a bit different. people say the quality control  is not as good with the uk version and the volume knob catches on the case. I  dont know wether this is true im simply passing information on. But yes i live in the UK and would buy the EA model but ive only ever...

A buffer? the o2 amp is said not to do much to the sound it just makes it sound more coloured. It certainly does not change the sound as much as most amps. So i guess you could call it a buffer

have you considered the objective 2 amp? in the uk its £90. It can power 300 ohm headsets with ease. Should be great wit the dt880. Also the one listed above b(by user cel4145) is better value (coms with the power adapter and everything you need n the box) but the jbs labs is said to be...
