opinions on the epiphany acoustics 02 headphone amp and how it compares with the jds labs 02 amp? 
I want to know more about sound quality and the differences in quality. Thanks

Their audio performance should be exactly the same, since the underlying components are the same. All modifications to the O2 PCB require Nwavguy's approval, and that's not happening now that he's gone. The only difference is in the input/output options, and the price. Just buy whatever is cheaper for you.

As they are both based on the same design, I doubt there is an noticeable different in sound quality or build quality.
I would think the only real deciding factor would be the external input and output placement of the ports.
 
I believe Schiit is selling their original Magni for $79.

Just an FYI, but I can tell you for a fact that quality issues exist with some O2 sellers.  That said, I have no specific knowledge of the two suppliers mentioned in this thread.

The Magni is not a tube amp. Do you mean the Vali?

I doubt there is a noticeable difference in sound quality, between the O2 and Magni.

It would mostly depend where you are from. If your from the US order from JDS. If from EU then probably EHP to avoid import charge.

I tried the magni and the vali. i liked he vali more in the way it was warmer and smoother. I would now like to the know the difference in the vali and the objective 2. Any thoughts?

I would assume the O2 and Magni are close to the same, so if you liked the Vali better then the Magni, then chances are you would like the Vali better then the O2.
