I listen to a lot of dance / house and bassy music. At the moment I have a pair of sennheiser momentums with a JDSLabs CMOY.
 
I've decided I need an upgrade. **** balanced sound. I want HEAD. THUMPING. BASS.
 
They say the momentums are pretty bassy, but I want a lot more. What combo would you recommend which would deliver this for me?

The audio technica m50 is know for its over emphasised base so would highly recommend these. hey are also fairly cheap at the moment so win win situation.

The Sennheiser Urbanite is the can for you, if you are all about the bass (no treble). Furthermore, it has quite a recessed mid-range. But Tyll put it on the wall of fame, so probably a good basshead can.

But the Urbanite looks like it is easy to drive and doesn't need an amp at 18 ohms. Any more powerful bass heavy headphones?
