Can anyone who has/is using one of these confirm that plugging in the headphones does NOT cut the line out signal? Mine doesn't, and for me that is a serious design flaw. I don't want to have to manual shut off my speakers when I plug in headphones.- cjfreitag

I hate to ask such a totally noob question, but can anyone explain widgets to me? I see this is a feature of the new firmware, but not being an Android person I don't see how to install or use them, When I long press on the screen the widget menu is there and I follow the directions to tab and...- cjfreitag

I’m not getting the alphabet scroll in the FiiO music app in album view. It does show up in other views. I’m using version 1.1.6 of the app and am up to date in firmware. Any suggestions?- cjfreitag

I tried the BT DAC receiver functionality for the first time today. The M11 is primarily about audio quality for me, and I know that BT compromises that. But I have to say I really like being able to stream things from my iPhone (which has an unlimited data plan) to the M11 so I can listen to...- cjfreitag

You have filter options in Qobuz to only see the genres you want. And I can’t speak to all of Telarc, but I searched the Scottish guitarist David Russell (who has recorded on that label) and found three of his albums.- cjfreitag

I think it depends somewhat on your music preferences. I tried TIDAL and liked it; excellent app and sound quality. But as a primarily classical and jazz person the strong lean towards pop music in the curation of the service was a turn-off for me. I tried both Idagio and Primephonic--geared to...- cjfreitag

[FiiO FH7] Flagship 5-Driver (1DD + 4BAs) Hybrid In-Ear Monitors, Knowles DFK + SWFK Composite BA Drivers, 13.6mm Beryllium DD Driver
Take my response with a grain of salt since I changed both filters and tips at the same time. But I find the treble filters work really well for most of the music I listen to (classical, jazz); I really hear the difference in a cleaner string sound. I think the "more air and extension" is a fair...- cjfreitag

For the first few weeks I had the FH7s I went with the reference tips and Comply foam tips (which is what I always used on my SE846s). I tried some of the FiiO tips and the SpinFits when I first inboxed them but none seemed to work very well for me. I was a confirmed foamie because the isolation...- cjfreitag

Has anyone tried Primephonic? I was able install it and register for the free trial, and it streams fine. But if I try to subscribe I get an error. Maybe it needs Google Play?- cjfreitag

Qobuz Problems, anybody? I started using the Qobuz service when I got the M11, and I like the variety of music they offer and the ability to have HiRes offline files. But I'm finding the Android app to be troublesome. The main problem is that often when I start it up for the first time and go...- cjfreitag

To be honest, I think the problem here is BCAK. That’s an acronym I just learned last week, and it stands for Between Chair And Keyboard. In other words, operator error.- cjfreitag

Well, it's a mystery. I can think of no reason why one set of IEMs would make the volume control behave any differently than another. I can't imagine any way in which they would interact.- cjfreitag

OK, so what exactly happens? Is the volume always at the same level? If you rotate the volume wheel, what happens? Does this only happen with the FH-7, or with other headsets too? For me, the combination works fine as I said.- cjfreitag

I'm also using Slot 1 for Spotify (and Qobuz) and slot 2 for my library (a mix of flac and ALAC files.) My download time is not bad...certainly a lot faster than it was on the M9 with 2.4ghz only.- cjfreitag

Here is one irksome problem I have with the FiiO app. It sounds great and it's fast, but I'm frustrated at the inability to correct tags. Loading all of my files to the player has revealed some glitches; for example, an album might appear twice with 12 tracks on one version and 1 track on the...- cjfreitag
