Senn CX300 alternative
Thanks for the input guys. I am in between the NE-6 and PL21s. Just one last thing, besided the quality of sound, are these buds sound-isolating, at least at the same level of the CX300s. I should be safe getting either the NE-6 or PL21 from eBay right? or is it like with the CX300s that you...- okinawa_joe

Senn CX300 alternative
Hello there, it's been a looong time since I last posted. I've been using Sennheiser's CX300 for about two years now and I'm very happy with them. As source I mainly use my laptop and a Meizu M6. The thing is these buds are starting to break apart, and I wanted to get something very...- okinawa_joe

Meizu M6 + Shure e2c a good overall combo?
The E2Cs are excellent companion to the Meizu M6, i have this setup. However I also use a pair of CX300 and even when they are bassier, they sound pretty good paired with the M6. The M6 is an excellent buy, here in Spain it's as hard to get as in Slovenia I guess, but via eBay you get...- okinawa_joe

Shure E2C broke, need earphone recommendation
Well yeah, I was a bit concerned with that, but reading up on the seller's feedback calmed me a bit as it was very positive. My E2Cs are damaged for good, if I start moving the sound gets all distored.- okinawa_joe

Shure E2C broke, need earphone recommendation
Well, I am actually thinking of getting the E2Cs again ? maybe they solved the reliability issue with the cords. What other IEMs are on par with the E2C sound ?? er6i have the "clinical" sound, SuperFi 3 Studio ??? I think I am looking for a fun sound rather than anything else. anyone ?- okinawa_joe

Shure E2C broke, need earphone recommendation
Hello there, I just got a Meizu M6 PMP and have been using my E2Cs a lot more again, I got these about 3 years ago. I started noticing wierd noises and thought it was the PMP, ended up being a faulty Shure cord, right there where the actual earpiece bends... Anyhow, I love the E2C sound, I...- okinawa_joe

Ultra-portable flash-based player?
I have been using an iAudio U3 2GB for a while now and soundwise it meets all my expectations, it's got a myriad of features, plays video, pictures, MP3, WMA, OGG, FLAC formats, it's damn small and with a full color screen. The battery last about 12 hours or so when using it to play music...- okinawa_joe

Purchasing iPod, My 1st MP3 Player - How To Get Best Sound From It? Need Your Help!
Hey there, a friend of mine has a Honda Accord Executive 2005 with a similar setup. Well as of today I join the club guys, I was "dismissed" because of a "taskforce reduction" of sorts Anyhow, it's good time to find a better job, here in Spain we have some sort of unemployement insurance, that when you are out of work the government pays you something like 70 - 80% your...- okinawa_joe

Pictures of your portable rig- Part V: Viva La Audio Revolution
At 16 - 18 volume (it maxes out at 40) is more than loud enough for me when out on the street. Drives the E2Cs pretty well, believe I would give a more accurate and technical explanation if I knew the words to use . Anyhow, it's a winner, you won't regret getting it even as a second unit.- okinawa_joe

I've been playing a little more with the U3 and I figured that it does have a pan feature when in Picture mode that allow you to navigate the image, I also tried encoding a CD to -q4 ogg and it plays perfect + tag displays ok. Regards,- okinawa_joe
