Well yeah, I was a bit concerned with that, but reading up on the seller's feedback calmed me a bit as it was very positive. My E2Cs are damaged for good, if I start moving the sound gets all distored.

At 16 - 18 volume (it maxes out at 40) is more than loud enough for me when out on the street. Drives the E2Cs pretty well, believe I would give a more accurate and technical explanation if I knew the words to use . Anyhow, it's a winner, you won't regret getting it even as a second unit.

I've been playing a little more with the U3 and I figured that it does have a pan feature when in Picture mode that allow you to navigate the image, I also tried encoding a CD to -q4 ogg and it plays perfect + tag displays ok. Regards,

Have you considered the iAudio U3?, it's got all the features you listed except that the larger version comes in 2GB, it's pretty small and packed full of features.
