Melbourne meet up?
Well, I'm in the northern suburbs, so if I'm organising, I'll start by looking at the inner north most likely -

CORDA COUNTRY
Thanks. I have ordered one as well, and am looking forward to playing around with the Country in my system. I plan to mostly use it before my DAC/preamp, which then feeds multiple devices, including standard and electrostatic HP amps, active speakers, and a separate DAC connected to an...- intlsubband

CORDA COUNTRY
Thank you for this - just to clarify, have you tried to use the Country's digital output to another DAC, rather than analog/ HP output? and if so, is there still adverse effect on the sound?- intlsubband

The Astell and Kern AK240 Impressions Thread
Did anyone try connecting the AK240 to the AK380 amp module? both use micro usb connectors so theoretically it could work - but I wonder if anyone tried.- intlsubband

CORDA COUNTRY
Any updates on the Country project? I have been really curious about it since first announced. It looks like the DSP in the Country would have even more functionality than the DSP controls in the Soul? Great to see than Jan is still making innovative projects for headphone hobbyists, which...- intlsubband

The Stax SR-L500 and SR-L700 Impressions Thread
The L700 have arrived! a welcome arrival to break the boredom of our lockdown (we are currently living under some of the strictest lockdowns in the world here in Melbourne, trying to suppress our 2nd wave). The L700 is now sitting right next to the HD800S and LCD-XC to complete my main home trio...- intlsubband

Which would be better: SR-009 + SRM-353X or SR-L700 + SRM-353X + Yggdrasil?
The Koss/Drop arrived a couple of days ago, the Stax plug and the L700 are both still on the way. So far I'm listening to the Koss from the much-maligned E/90x bundled amp. At the heart of my system is an Antelope Zodiac Gold DAC/preamp, and it outputs in parallel to the Koss amp, as well as my...- intlsubband

Which would be better: SR-009 + SRM-353X or SR-L700 + SRM-353X + Yggdrasil?
This is an interesting old thread, not sure if any of the protagonists are still around. I wonder how you went with your L700/ 009 thoughts. Did you get one or the other? I am just starting the electrostat route myself. I have a nice old SRM-313 connected to my setup and a couple of headphones...- intlsubband

I know this amp is now a bit ancient, but would the 313 do well enough to drive the L700?- intlsubband

Show us your Head-Fi station at it's current state. No old pictures please...
Work from home station almost complete (electrostats to connect and complete the system soon) Sorry for the photo quality - the light quality is very pleasant in person but looks terrible on camera! will take the next bunch of photos in daylight.- intlsubband

AURALiC owners unite!
Just give it a good listen and tell us how you find it to be. I use it with my LCD-XC, same drivers, and I use it in balanced mode. In fact you can hear it in SE mode while connected in balance by switching to the SE output - and it will give you an idea of the sound difference. I think it...- intlsubband

AUDEZE LCD XC
Bought a "new" LCD-XC this week, after much pondering. An impending house move required and sleeping arrangements required an investment in a good closed-back for late-night listening to complement my HD800S. I got a discounted set from the local distributor which was used for in-store demo...- intlsubband

[FiiO M11] Android 7.0, 2.5/3.5/4.4 Powerful Output, Exynos 7872, Dual AK4493 DAC chips, 3GB RAM, WiFi, Two-way LDAC
Very disappointing to see that you are releasing a "pro" version so quickly after the first version @FiiO - I would never have bought it if I saw that it is coming out so quickly after the first version. Very poor move.- intlsubband

I use it all the time. I shuffle all, and if I choose to start from songs, swiping left and right will get to other versions of that same song, by other artists etc. If the shuffle starts from the albums page, swiping left and right will give you the tracks before and after the one that came in...- intlsubband

Re- n. 2. This should NOT change - this is a badly needed feature. I am still waiting for album shuffle as well, which was disappointingly not implemented in the last update.- intlsubband

Hi, thank yoy for replying! I mean the ability to play a random album, rather than song. So, the shuffle function will randomise the order of albums (or choose an album to play at random from the device and storage), but each album is played with the correct order of songs.- intlsubband

Have been using the M11 for a while now. There is clearly a lot to love about it. I use it mostly with a PM3 (2.5mm) and am very happy about the sound, no bass issues with this combo. Perhaps there is a very small bump in the upper mids, not sure if others have noticed this. I have been having...- intlsubband

Here's another idea for @FiiO or any other manufacturer lurking in this thread (if you like it I want a cut of the sales  ) How about implementing ANC in a DAP? Just like on ANC headphones, the DAP would just need a couple of external microphones built in, and if turned on, would work...- intlsubband
