I tried EQ with lots of music players but it didn't do the trick, the sound quality suffers a lot and the bass is still not present. I will go with E11K, thanks for the help guys!

Hello! I've bought the V-Moda M-100's a while back and i'm very pleased with the sound quality. I've used them with my Htc One X and with the "beats boost eq" the volume was pretty good and the bass amount was decent while still maintaining pretty decent quality. I have changed my phone to a LG...

Went with the M-100 and boy am i glad. They fit my ears perfectly, they don't press my glasses, being one of the most comfortable hp's i've tried. (they do heat up after some hours of usage but, hey, that happens with all pleather hp.) And the sound.. amazing. I wish they had a tad more bass...

Decided to get the V-moda's m100. Will they get loud enough using my phone (htc one x) or should i get an amp like the fiio e6/e11/e07k?

Wasn't thinking that at all, hehe, but thanks for the help anyways. As i'm willing to sacrifice comfort for better bass/sound, i'll go with the m100 for now. I do have average ears size so i will try my luck with them. If they suck, i can always return them and go for the es7. I'll buy them...

I have to be sure about ws99, since i can't refund them unlike v-moda's.. Won't they press my glasses against my head since they rest on the ears, like the MOE ?

I live in Romania, so it's hard to find used headphones, esp ones as ATH.I will buy the headphones from amazon.de, so you can look there for suggestions. So.. it's down to m100 vs ws99.. Which one is more "fun", has the bass that you can "feel" and  is the loudest?   So far no impressions on...

The p7 are out of my budget since i'm planning to return the MOE and add another 100$, therefore the 300$ budget. The MOE had bass, but i want deeper, stronger bass. Also, they're not comfortable since i wear glasses and they push them against my head making my ears really sore after 1-1/2...

Ok, i've done alot of reading, and it has come down to these two, very different products. V-Moda M100(330$) and Sennheiser IE 80's(285$). Which one has better bass punch, more clarity and better soundstage ?

Hmm, ok. How does the v-moda sound for non-bassy genres though? are they clear enough or they sound boomy, canned? Also, do they get loud enough if you listen from a phone? Or should i buy a portable amp ?
