What Amp For Beyerdynamic DT990 250-Ohm
I don't really need something portable. The Schiit Magni seems pretty good spec wise and price wise. The website says it can power up to 600 ohms; is this true, or am I reading it wrong?- HumblexTurtle

Beyerdynamic DT990 vs. Audio-Technica AD700?
If the Astro Mixamp does not have enough power (or I just want a separate mixamp), what would be the recommended mixamp that will do the job?- HumblexTurtle

Beyerdynamic DT990 vs. Audio-Technica AD700?
The DT990's seem like the solid choice to go with. What mixamp should I get with it? I have the newest Astro Mixamp that I use with Astro A40's for my Xbox 360 and PS4, but I may look into getting a separate one just for the DT990's. Would the Astro Mixamp be good enough to power the 250 ohm...- HumblexTurtle

Beyerdynamic DT990 vs. Audio-Technica AD700?
The lack of bass in the ATH-AD700's are why I was not too sure about them and am open to other Audio-Technica models assuming the model is still comfortable and good sound quality. As for budget, the ATH-A990x are $220 on Amazon, so they would be the highest I go. The DT990's 250-Ohm Pro is...- HumblexTurtle

Beyerdynamic DT990 vs. Audio-Technica AD700?
EDIT: After reading the posts here, I have settled on the DT990's over the Audio-Technica AD700. Unless someone can convince me that a different pair of Audio-Technica headphones are better, the DT990's are my choice. Now, the question is: What mixamp will do the job of powering the 250 ohm...- HumblexTurtle

Comfort Priority - Which Headphones?
I am looking for full-sized headphones that are extremely comfortable for PC. I have bad experiences with headphones being too heavy and too clamping. I use them for gaming and listening to music. I do like some bass, but the bass does not have to be ridiculous. I play mainly RTS and MMO games...- HumblexTurtle

Dorm Room Speakers?
Hey everyone :). I am currently in college, and I am looking for an awesome speaker setup for my dorm. I was thinking of a 2.1 system or maybe 2.0 system. I don't have enough room for a 5.1 or 7.1 system. My speakers are for music and movies/television. I do listen to dubstep, so I do enjoy...- HumblexTurtle

Looking For Comfy Headphones
I am on the search for extremely comfortable and lightweight headphones. I am a gamer, so gaming is my priority. I don't play many FPS games on PC (I play some); I mainly play RTS and MMO games. Music is my second priority as I sometimes listen to music while I game or am simply on the computer...- HumblexTurtle
