Mine is saying mid-September as well now. Update: they were just delivered, won't have a chance to listen to them until next week tho.

Is some (noticeable) hiss normal with the m9xx, or could this be a problem with this production run? Really hoping it's not the latter, mine is scheduled to arrive today.

Has anyone tried the XC with the Fostex HP-A8? I imagine it'd pair fine, but if anyone has heard the combo, I'd appreciate any opinions.

I have the M-100s.. Haven't gotten around to getting custom shields yet though. I agree they are not common here at all. I did randomly cross paths with someone wearing M-80s a few months back, but other than that I don't think I've seen any.

  Happened to me too, but I replaced the battery in the remote and it worked perfectly again. Are you sure it's not that?

100% headphones.. for mostly the same reasons that zeddun brought up. Also, living in a flat with neighbours on all sides it's nice to be able to listen to music at any volume any time of day. 

To any Xperia Z owners that may be thinking of getting the RCS800, be warned that only the volume controls work, not the centre button. Seems the headphone jack on the Z doesn't leave enough room for the RCS800 to insert fully (so some connections aren't made). I fully blame Sony, not Sennheiser...

  I'll answer my own question now.. Seems that the TH600s leak a bit more than the 271s. Not so much that it's a problem though. 

Can anyone comment on the isolation of the 600 relative to the AKG K271mk2?   I'm thinking of getting the 600 as an upgrade to my home office closed headphone setup (where I need to not annoy my nearby wife with my music). I understand they aren't the most sealed off headphone, but neither...

I've not been to head-fi meet before so I'm not sure how it all works.    I'd like to bring my headphones/amps/sources, but then I'd also like to walk around and check out what other people brought.    What do most people do with their stuff? -leave it unattended -lock to table...
