Need help picking out in ears for under $50
I'm planning on a gift for someone who mainly focuses on both bass and clarity within headphones and got a budget of $50 so I can't get too crazy with it. They listen to various rock and edm, and in the past have enjoyed the Monster Jamz. I considered getting them another pair of those but the...- CanUReadThis

Ready to buy the HD 558s unless you have other recommendations in the ~$150 price range.
I would recommend checking out the beyerdynamic custom one pros. It's a bit over your price range at the moment but sales are just around the corner at this point. From a fellow gamer's perspective, you're probably not going to have issues with lack of bass because of the because of the sliders...- CanUReadThis

Non-audiophile reactions to high-end headphones Part II
Oakland here, and I see plenty of people wearing beats around here too. It is the ghetto after all. Mostly beats and cheap sony headphones. For most people I've seen with beats, it's been more of a fashion accessory. "Hey look at my new beats!" They want to wear them proudly and show them off...- CanUReadThis

Non-audiophile reactions to high-end headphones Part II
I dunno what part of California you're from but I've seen a decent amount of audiophiles around here. Myself included, but I live in a pretty ghetto area so walking around with a several hundred dollar set up isn't something I'd feel comfortable doing. As much as I'd like to, the closest I've...- CanUReadThis

Good In Ear Headphones for around $100?
The only pair on the list I've used was the Klipsch S4's. They've been my on the go earphones for the past year that which I've been pretty happy with. Sound Isolation/Bleed - 9/10 You won't have to worry about bleeding sound as these bleed next to nothing at painfully loud volumes. They...- CanUReadThis

Which headphones should I get?
Almost forgot about these. http://www.monoprice.com/Product/Index?p_id=8323 These are an absolute steal for 20 bucks. They're what I usually recommend to friends who don't want to spend much.- CanUReadThis

Which headphones should I get?
If you go for IEM's the Klipsch s4's are a good buy for around that price range. They're what I usually listen to on the go.- CanUReadThis

Which headphones should I get?
The only decent headphones in that range is the koss ksc75's. They aren't the best looking but have some pretty good reviews in terms of sound and comfort.- CanUReadThis

Headphone Sightings 2
Mainly cheap apple/phillips/jvc earbuds here. Although the closest I got to seeing a potential audiophile was someone walking around campus listening to a pair of m50s- CanUReadThis

Need help deciding headphones for around $200
They're just above my 200 dollar budget by around 20 bucks. I'm leaning toward the dt990 premiums as they offer a 32 ohm version for that price considering I don't have an amp of any sort.- CanUReadThis

Need help deciding headphones for around $200
I got the chance to look around a bit more and now the beyerdynamic dt 770(80ohm) and dt 990 premium (32ohm) have caught my attention. For EDM, rock, and classical, how do you guy's think those would compare to the ad900x or a900x?- CanUReadThis

Yeah I saw a picture of that a while back. I think it may have been from PurpleAngel. There was another using a shoe lace. I remember thinking "Wow! What a simple yet effective fix!" Seems everyone's all saying A900X or AD900X but are there perhaps any headphones I should look into that I didn't...- CanUReadThis

Quote: I've seen a lot of good reviews on both the A900X and AD900X (open ver.). The A900X has some complaints on comfort because of the weight. What do you think about this?- CanUReadThis

Need help deciding headphones for around $200
Quote: Being a newbie audiophile I can't offer much. I've tried a few of the typical street headphones like sol republics or beats (I feel like saying that word around here is taboo). The bass I find on beats overpower the mids and highs too much. The sol republics were the same case but...- CanUReadThis

Need help deciding headphones for around $200
I looked into the HD598's a while back and their great soundstage was the main attraction. But most of the reviews I've seen on it said it was a bit too lacking in bass (I'd still like for there to be some impact) so I strayed away.- CanUReadThis

How do you think the A900X holds up against the well kown ATH M50s? And for the Q701 and K550, just how bass light are they? Because I've heard a lot of mixed reviews on whether or not it was lacking or balanced.- CanUReadThis
