AUDIOSENSE in-ear monitors Impressions Thread
I haven't spent much time with them yet, but first impressions are mixed. T260 is very comfortable. I'm using P-series comply foam tips, so isolation is exceptional as well. I'm getting much more overall bass than expected or wanted actually (I'm sure foam tips are some part of that equation)...- beedee

Thanks, for your reply. Glad to know I’m not the only one. AliExpress, but I have been in contact with Audiosense. They can’t get any more tracking information than I have, so it’s the waiting game for me I guess 😑- beedee

Brainwavz Audio B400 4-Way Quad Driver 3D Printed IEM
I purchased the black b400 during the Black Friday sale. Took a a while to get to me, but not a big deal. They fit my ears really well with the smallest tips. I did switch out the cable because the stock cable automatically tangles itself. They sound as advertised by several reviews I’ve read...- beedee

How long do CIEMs last?
I bought the UE 10 PRO CIEM back in 2006 when it was UE's TOTL. I've used it recreationally and on stage for almost 12 years now with not a single issue. I'm still using my original cable, even though it's completely green, lol (still works!). I'm finally having seal issues because my ears...- beedee

I have both of these. Prefer the look and fit of the UES, but prefer the sound of the Piano. Kind of similar sound signature (V shaped, sucked out mids). The UES treble can get way too bright (hot, shrill, abrasive) for my liking, especially with silicone tips. Foam tips are a must for me. FWIW...- beedee

If you really want to tame the low mid boost, place a small piece of adhesive tape over the port. I found that removing the glue/adhesive that was originally in the port made the mid-bass even more present. If a solid piece of tape decreases bass too much, try micro-pore tape. Just a thought...- beedee

I have both and the piano has way more treble than the pro and would be comparable to Beyers (DT 770 for example, cause I have those as well). The pianos also sound more V shaped like a beyers DT770 as well. The pro has more mids (some may say a warmer sound) than the piano.- beedee

In my experience, the port mod made bass way out of control. You can always cover the port again if you don't like it. I prefer the port closed. I think it sounds much more balanced with the ports taped over. With bass tamed, treble doesn't sound as recessed. I like the piano as well, though...- beedee

Treble on pros is smooth. I would recommend NOT doing the "port mod". Leave it closed. Adds way too much bass IMO.- beedee
