Has anyone used Boom or Amarra Play? Both ios apps that connect to Tidal / Quboz and you stream through the app and can use custom eq etc?

Yes but i have no idea what to tweak in the eq settings. Ideally i was hoping it would have presets. My music source is quboz which iam streaming from my ios device.

Anyone know how i open up the aune t1? There's screws on the bottom but there covered by clear plastic that allows the base to sit a few mm off the surface but can't seem to remove them?

Hang on. Maybe your right. If i leave both plugged into the dac and rub the red input off both input connections on the amp i get nothing from either in terms of noise but if i plug the red in i get sound in the right??

Nope, it's a fiio d03k. Can't imagine it's a fault with the tv when sound from the tvs speakers is perfect. I assume it's to do with the rca cable?

  I have an aune t1 for that. The fiio d03k is so i can connect the aune t1 to my tv! The only other option was headphone to RCA 

I already ordered a fiio d03k and an optical cable so not much point in buying a headphone to rca cable now . Iam just curious as to why going this route is better when i could of done things alot cheaper ....... should have tried a headphone to rca first before buying the fiio d03k but oh well! 

Looking this up and cannot find any explanation at all ha I just hope i didn't blow 60 bucks for nothing if a cheap headphone jack to rca cable would have been just as good :(
