Which ones? ATH-MSR7, MDR-1A, K550? £150 range
I can imagine, i have read so many reviews on here just over the 2 headphones I am deciding on, and I'm at the point, where even without listening to them i am considering just pulling the trigger on a pair of the ATH's. though I'm sure by the morning that will change- Stylis10

Which ones? ATH-MSR7, MDR-1A, K550? £150 range
I have read quite a few places where they have modded the MDR-1A's with some padding for reduce the bass, but im not sure how much work that would be if it was a problem in the future- Stylis10

Which ones? ATH-MSR7, MDR-1A, K550? £150 range
You're right, I think it's going to be between the MDR-1A and ATH-MSR7. I just wish I could find somewhere to try out the ATHs, I've heard the Sony and they are good also currently £120 vs £150 for the ATH, though the ATH comes with extra cables which I could definitely find handy.... I do...- Stylis10

Which ones? ATH-MSR7, MDR-1A, K550? £150 range
So my previous pair of headphones which I have had for coming upto 5 years has been the KOSS Pro100. However these are coming to the end of their life (I know lifetime warranty, but they have been modded no go area) Anyway, I am looking for a new pair of headphones around the £150 range (prefer...- Stylis10

Do I need an amp to fix this problem? Sony Walkman NWZ-A845 + KOSS PRODJ100
I have just got a pair of KOSS DJPRO100 headphones. My current MP3 player is the "Sony Walkman NWZ-A845". The sound coming from these headphones when connected to this music source just does not sound right! It really sounds weird. I know the Sony headphones that the player came with have a 4...- Stylis10

Quote: I can increase my budget to around £60, for that price would the Koss Pro DJ100 (£50) or the Sony MDR-V6 be good options? (also considered the koss pro dj200 as they have the detachable cable) I shall be playing the music through my computer and through a Sony NWZ-A845 when...- Stylis10

Hi everyone, I have been scouring this site for a few days now since I have been wanting to buy a new pair of headphones as my old ones broke. I had the Bose AE2, and the JVC HA-NC80. I did not buy either of these, they were gifts, however they are both broken now. I realize that these...- Stylis10

Is it possible to semi-build better headphones than buy for under £50?
Quote: I'm not so much worried about the actual modding itself, I'm no stranger to tools or soldering irons. I do however have no clue as to anything sound related. Also, i am one of those people that would much rather make something than buy it, I just like making things and...- Stylis10

Is it possible to semi-build better headphones than buy for under £50?
I think the nature of this question shows that i am not an audiophile and really don't have the funds to indulge in it nor do I have much experience in this area, hence please be patient with me if this seems like a completely stupid question. However, I did have a pair of Bose AE2s which...- Stylis10
