Has anyone tried to recable the ED9? I bought one for my friend a while back and one side is now intermittent. It doesn't look easy to take apart.

Not really into earbuds but since the VE monks are getting loads of praise, this one might also be worth a shot.

No improvement. I stuffed it with cotton because the treble got harsh after removing the mesh.   My Piston 3 has noticeably more bass than my tenore. Should this be the case?

Pretty neat little amp! Looks like a nice substitute to my E11K which is a bit bulky to carry in my pocket. The clip is also a nice touch so that I don't have to keep a band across the screen of my phone.

Same here. They fit my ears best but they need more frequent cleaning to keep them from losing seal due to their shallower insertion. These are really soft and comfy. I find them more comfortable than the included foam tips or even complys. I ordered some spiral dots but they'll take some time...

I don't like my ears. I can't use double flange tips because I can't insert them deep enough for the second flange to seal. Sucks.

Do any of the KZ earphones come stock with their blue whirlwind tips? Has anyone tried them and how are they?

Bought mine on Dec 2014. It came in the cardboard packaging.    Excuse the cable. Replacement is still in the mail. It has been a bad couple of months of not being able to use them. I cannot wait.
