That CNET review says the PXC 550 sound better than the QC 35 but gives the senns an 8 and the bases a 9 lol. Sounds kinda silly. Also they both have the same 9 for features when the sennheisers by far have more features?

Are these worth getting if i don't care about noise cancelling?   I'm trying to find a good bluetooth over ear headphone and all signs point here, but Im wondering if I can forego the active noise cancellation and get a better/cheaper headphone?

Also, is volume maybe an issue? Do I need to play these headphones at pretty loud volumes to fully appreciate different music? My computer volume is probably around 30% bc I don't want the sound leaking to the people around me.

Yeah thats kind of what I meant. If listening to my music normally through ATH-M50s would help me pick up things I haven't before, help me appreciate the different sounds in music more, I will gladly keep them. However, if it can't do this, then I see no point in keeping them bc my ipod earbuds...

So I have determined that I have a tiny head, compared to most people. The Philips Uptown are pretty loose on my head, the M50s fit better but could still use more clamp.    The main reason I want more clamp is because I feel like this would greatly increase isolation and decrease leakage...

All right, so I love the comfort of the Philips Uptown, but I think they are too big for my head. Even though they were only $50... they might have to go back to the store :(   Are the M50s better in this area?

The Philips Uptown is extremely comfortable, pretty good isolation and has more bass than the the Philips Downtown.
