Yeah, I have been returning my portapros to be fixed for years. The bad news is they are NOT durable, good news is they ARE faithful to their lifetime warranty. It's pretty cool. The sound quality of the portapros is also excellent for an inexpensive headphone.

I'm looking for an inexpensive headset for gaming and Skype. I only want to spend about $30 but will consider spending more if it's worth it. I have large head, so I'm reluctant to buy Koss because that brand tends to be tight.   Edit: Must be both Mac and PC compatible.

Well, now you definitely shouldn't keep them. The quality of counterfeit products is horrible. I accidentally got some fake Sennheisers once, they were the worst. I recommend going to a high end audio store and trying on some real headphones. It will change your perception of things.
