I need a decent gaming headset that is both mac and pc compatible. Comfort and durability is a priority. Decent sound quality would be nice, although I don't expect them to compete with my Grados.
 
I was thinking of buying the Plantronics GameCom 780 Surround Sound Stereo PC Gaming Headset.

I just bought one of these http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-7-1-Channel-Surround-Sound-Headset/dp/B001O5CCQK/ref=sr_1_13?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1363360443&sr=1-13&keywords=logitech+headphones used for $60. But I am concerned now because I read that they do not come with Mac drivers. Does this mean if I plug them into a mac I won't hear anything?

That just means the "G" buttons will not work probably.

Thanks. You're right, they work on the Mac. However these headphones are SERIOUSLY hurting my head. I'm considering re-selling them. Does anyone know of any headset that will NOT kill my head? Anyone?
