Hello, can somebody compare the ortofon e-q5 with the fostex te-05? I can buy Ortofon e-q5 for the same price as Hifiman re-600. The Fostex is cheaper. Not sure what to buy.

Ultimate Ears UE 900 Discussion and Impressions Thread

Had this problem with the black cable.  For some guys it was enough to clean the connecters with a brush or q-tips. I used chemicals.

Xonar Essence STX & Beyerdynamic T1

The Essence's amp  has a level for 600ohm too. I have nothing plugged in something higher than 250ohm. But I think it can handle it.

Two new alternatives to choose from while buying two way three driver iem . Fischer Amps FA-3E and the t.bone EP 7

I own the FA-3 (not "E" but comfort is ok) and  i am very happy that i upgraded from shure215 and Sennheiser 880. You realize the difference right from the start. More details, more realism, more space for the elements of the track.   Everything sounds so realistic and i can listen for hours...

To compare the SM3 with SM64 I think the following says a lot, there is a comprasion EM3 and EM4. Regarding kingice10 this seems to be close to the facts SM3/SM64. http://www.head-fi.org/t/592213/earsonics-em4-custom-iem-review-front-center   I know something about the buildqualit is...

have any one try ultrasone tio?

Listed cons: (from: http://forum.tellementnomade.com/viewtopic.php?f=93&t=4378 ) "- All plastic construction despite appearances - The signature of the relatively unbalanced acute cold - The lack of texture and detail - Lack of immersion"   I don't think it reaches w4, gr10 and 535.

have any one try ultrasone tio?

Hello, I haven't tryed it myself but read 3 tests. All with equal conclusion. Seems to be much too expensive. (my personal estimate: 150$ too high)   This is translated from http://www.journaldugeek.com/2013/01/02/test-flash-ecouteurs-ultrasone-tio/   "The sound signature focused on...
