Thank you for the explanation! The Mojo is a small, 0.4 lbs portable gadget while the Lyr 3 is a 6 lbs desktop amp. They should be in a different leauge, I just wanted to make sure they really are. I love the idea of the Lyr 3 as a hybrid headamp with an integrated and upgradable DAC!

I think we are talking about the same sound just call it differently... This is how my first pair sounded. I made this video to demonstrate it to Focal. They replaced the headphones, but the new pair developed the same issue in a couple of months. It doesn't matter how far the band is extended:

I too listen on double green on my Mojo, the Elears never popped.

I replaced my HD-700 with the HE-400i. This is the only way I would let my HE-400i go. I don't think I deserve it more than anyone else on this forum, but I will donate my HE-400i to charity if I am the lucky winner.
