If all you need is analog out from the DAC, check out the ODAC. I am thoroughly enjoying mine. It's a very simple and small device, about 1/2" x 2" x 3", with only USB in and 1/8th stereo jack out. Uses UAC1 built in drivers/supports 24/96.

Low impedance can be hard to drive too (high current) vs high impedance (high voltage).

The DX100 may be able to run an external HD with a USB OTG cable. It's not exactly cheap though... but hey, you wouldn't really need your external DAC/AMP either ;)

Ok, I'll give it a shot, I did turn that setting off. 512MB of ram is pretty bare, but so long as you don't load up a bunch of crap on here I think it will be ok. For the price, 1GB would have been nice, though :/

Is it just my device or is the WiFi capability really crappy? I can see networks, they even say good strength, but it really doesn't want to connect to them (sometimes it will) but I never get any data across, and I have checked the passwords/etc.

I just got mine this morning. That was super fast shipping! This thing just exudes quality, even the fancy little box. I am very impressed so far. Seems to have ~old firmware installed so I will put the latest build on. I'll be letting you guys know how it goes.
