I got a aftermarket for mine because I couldnt stand the stock cable. To stiff and brittle for me, just a real pain to deal with.

Congrats Magic, please post some impressions when you can pull yourself away from them. :)

  Please don't say that, I have been using the Bifrost/Lyr as my deciding factor in NOT getting them.  

I am thinking about getting away from the Lyr and tubes. Not sure why but I am tired of tube rolling, it was fun for 1.5yrs but I am done. Anyone have any preference on either the MJOLNIR or Bryston BHA-1? Leaning towards the BHA-1 as it has single ended output as well as balanced. Probably...

^^^ I don't see why not, I would think they would be the same as new. I am sure someone more qualified than me can answer that, but I wouldn't worry about it. I would just use and enjoy them.

meyner, just curious if you got the amp in yet and what you think of it with the HE-500 and LCD-2?   I am going through the same decision process right now, I really like the Soloist but I am worried maybe my Bifrost wouldnt be up to par with the rest of the chain.  

 Those things are almost to pretty to wear!!! I would be so afraid of scratching them!!! 

Just get all 3 of them!!!!
