Also found/dug out my old PAV2 Headphone amp from Gary at electric-avenues.com, gonna have to charge it up and mess with it a bit later tonight on all these old headphone sets I have laying around...

Well after this search started I got into the closet here to see what I had that I could use besides the apple supplied headphones (at least for music) since nothing I have has a mic on it. I came across 3 sets of these (new in black pouches) I honestly don't even remember where I got them...

At this point sounds like i cant go wrong with those $50 range ne7m's but i really do appreciate all the input from everyone here Now to search google a bit to find a place to get them from at a decent price... Bill

I love this new 3g apple iPhone - bought 2 even, 1 for me and 1 for wife but the headset is blah at best, I am looking for a good in ear alternative with mic preferable, that is in a good quality sound range. I read reviews on apple store but cant help wonder if its some 15 yr old who's happy...

BTW I have the pav2 from Gary and its an awesome little amp - I would recommend it to anyone looking for a decent price boost sound wise...

Spent some time with HeadRoom and got a set of Senn 595's ordered up and in route, also attempted to add the Beye 231's but they were out of stock for 7-10 business days and that would delay my order seriously, being a big kid and not able to wait, I went with the Senn EH250's for portable use...

Finally based on budget reviews budget more reviews and a bit on looks, I have made my decisions, (all of which will be for sale within 6 months as I upgrade LOL)... Senn HD595s and a PAV2 amp from Gary and most likely a set of Beye DT231's for times when I travel. Anyone got the lowdown...
