Quick take: HD-600 vs. K501 vs. V-6
Quote: Now, about the K501 lacking bass, one could say it lacks bass in comparison to other phones, in theory. I could agree it lacks the bass punch and fullness of other phones, in the same manner that a back row seat in a concert hall lacks the bass punch and fullness of a front row seat...- Gemul

Anyone ever heard 300SEI-LX20?
I think it's 20W version of 300SEI. I'm thinking about buying this one instead of buying Sha-series. Will it be better choice than nomal SEI? I can buy either a used SEI for $2,300 or a used LX-20 for $2,550. An audiofile told me it has SEI's treble and mid + better controlled bass...- Gemul

Matchup: CD3000 vs. HD 600 vs. RS -1
Neruda, the CD3000's case called Big Jewel Box. If you see it with your own eyes, I'm sure you can't say the HD600 comes in a case that's very similar to the CD3000's- Gemul

what is the absolute best Tubes for xcanv2 ( NOS is fine)
Here's some opinions from headwise If they were on E-bay, and say PQ on the box flap, they are fakes done in Hong Kong. They are Sylvania 6922, which if they are selected, can be OK. Problem is that a very small percenage will be low enough in microphony for pickier pre-amps. Depends on...- Gemul
