I heard a rumor that RS-1 doesn't come up with the Wooden box anymore. Is it true?

They stop using the wooden box years ago.

Gemul, instead of the wooden box the RS-1 now come with an extention cable and also an 3.5mm jack adaptor...to me this is a much better deal being that i can make good use of extension cable and adaptor jack while the box just sits around collecting dust and roach poops

I think they stopped distributing the wooden box with the RS-1s a little over a year ago (or at least this is what my dealer told me).

Mine came in a cardboard box but, as squirt said, Grado now includes the grado extension cable (very handy, btw).
