I just picked this guy up and was previously using a Behringer UCA 202. I find this unit to sound kind of hollow and sorely lacking in bass? Am I mental?

    Dog-fi

Here's a picture of Reggie. He's a 3 year old Labradoodle (wife's allergic to dogs that shed). Not the sharpest tool in the shed but he's super sweet.

    Car audio-Fi

Ooh! I was hoping there was a thread like this. I'm a long time/old school car audio guy. Got in to it in high school and haven't looked back since. Currently my gear list looks like this: 2013 Hyundai Sonata SE 2.0T OEM Source Unit Alpine PXE-H650 Signal Processor (this is a cool piece of...

You Know You're an Audiophile When.. Version 2!

Thought of another one. You know you're an audiophile when your spouse points out how terrible something sounds. Makes me proud and sad all at the same time.

    New Member Introductions thread

I don't think I did this when I signed up so here goes.   Hey there my name is Mark I live in Portland, OR. I've been in to audio since I was about 15 (35 now-ugh). Primary love was/is car audio and as I spend more time at home I'm getting in to headphones. The best headphones I've listened to...

    Monoprice 8323 Modding

Anyone have any suggestions for getting the "squeaking" noise the cord makes where the cord enters the can to quiet down? That's about the only issue I'm having with these.

    New Monoprice Premium Headphones - #10243, #10244, #10245, #10246

I have the 10245 (wifey has the 10246) and overall I'm very happy with them. They sound about as good as I can expect them to given that I listen to them mostly at the gym and use Pandora to listen. The range is better than I expected. Comfort is pretty good and they stay on my head pretty well...

    Any Fitness enthusiasts (Gymrats)?

Any other dedicated workout folks here on the forums? How long have you been training? What kind of gym do you train at? Favorite thing to train? Most importantly what kind of headphones do you use?  I'll start: 13 years Crunch Fitness or 24 Hour Fitness in Beaverton, OR Back day. I'd kill for...

Rate The Last Movie You Watched

Watched "The LEGO Movie" last weekend. I LOVED it! In a lot of ways it reminded me a lot of "Shrek" in that while it's target is definitely for kids many of the jokes were made for older folks. I'd give the movie a solid 8/10. Great soundtrack, awesome cast, and the special effects were...

You Know You're an Audiophile When.. Version 2!

-When you go without an item because you can't quite afford the one(s) you want. -When you don't even bother to listen to music since it won't sound "right" on a certain system.

It was the rooted Android device I was using when I signed up. Probably the HTC Evo. This reminds me to change it.

The PANASONIC RP-HTF600-S headphones. More fun than the HD650?

I absolutely love these headphones. I picked up a pair a little over a year ago and couldn't be happier with them. They're my first "High end" headphones. My only gripes are that I wish they were a bit more robust in their construction (probably why they're so affordable) and had a detachable...

Review by 'mfenske' on item 'Panasonic RP-HTF600-S Step Monitor'

This is truly my first foray in to high end headphones.I bought a pair of Klipsch Image Ones after listening to them at Best Buy and being pretty impressed with them initially.  Shortly thereafter I discovered this forum and got curious about better headphones.  I went to Echo Audio here in...

Suggestions for getting Klipsch Image One cord to not tangle?

New forum member, like the headphones a lot but the stupid cord coils/tangles like crazy.  I've tried suspending the phones from the cord upside down and that works for like 2 seconds.  Any suggestions?  I'm actually thinking of getting some Sennheiser HD380 Pros or the Audio Technica AT50 just...
